Body Part Mix Up.....

In the last few months Kylie has really been interested in everything, including her own body. She tries to wash off her birthmark on her arm and the tiny mole on her leg, hahaha. She talks about how one day she will have big feet like me and big well.....other things, hahaha, makes me laugh but not when we are in the dressing room at Target! She points all over her legs and arms and belly asking, "Is this skin?" and "This is skin too, right?" Curiosity. I love it!

Here are a few body part mix ups -

*Tis the season for allergies, Kylie has sinus drainage and coughs it up all the time. I tell her to try and spit it out rather than swallow it. The other day she needed to spit and said, "I need to spit my throat out." hahahaha.

*Kylie was looking in the mirror with her mouth wide open. She got really excited and said, "Mom, I can see my lungs!" :D I guess the back of her throat looks like a pair of lungs to her. :)

*Eating lunch:
Kylie - "I can feel this in my back."
Me - "Huh?"
Kylie - "I can feel this in my back and stomach."
Me - "What do you mean baby?"
Kylie - "Well, I'm eating this and then I'll poop and pee it out later."
Me - (LOL in my head.)

*Kylie was washing her face and got something in her eye. She kept trying to get it out and I asked her if she needed help. "No, it's just an eye-stash, I got it." LOL! I couldn't help but crack up. I kept picturing a mustache on an eye or something. Our eye lashes should be called an eyestache. So funny!

*Kylie's new "job" is cleaning the table, so after breakfast I gave her a rag with warm water on it.
Kylie - "This sounds warm!"
Me - "Sounds means you can hear it; it FEELS warm. You hear with your ears and feel with your skin."
Kylie asking as she lifts up her shirt - "Can I feel it on my skin?!"
Me - "Skin is all over your body, baby, even on your fingers." Silly girl! ;)

It is fun watching her grow up and learn about things that I don't even think about. I pray that she never be unhappy with her body.
