Song: The Rio soundtrack, made up songs by mom, and when daddy sings and plays on his guitar.

Movie/TV shows: Cat in the Hat, Megamind, Tangled, RIO, Cyberchase, How To Train Your Dragon, Dragon Tales.

Places to go: Chuck E Cheese, the Zoo, McDonalds, the mall, Chick-fil-a, Gigi's house, and Gpop's house.

Let's talk Kindergarten

What scares you: if someone is mean to me, if someone doesn't want to be my best friend, if I get in trouble or if one of my friends gets in trouble.

What are you excited about: gym, my new classroom, art, my best friend, playing outside, painting.

Do you have any questions about Kindergarten? "Hmmmmmmm.......no."

What do you know about Kindergarten? "I know I'm gonna do homework because that's what big kids do."

Accomplishments (and other things)

Graduated from preschool, can write her whole name, is READING!!!!!, excelled on her Kindergarten preview day, rode her first go kart w/daddy, got a bike (w/trainin wheels) for Christmas, saw Noah's Ark in Branson, went to the circus for the first time, does her calendar all by herself, no more mandatory naps, loves her veggies (broccoli, green beans, asparagus, cucumbers, etc), uses the big girl seat belt in the car w/her car seat, loves to tell knock knock jokes even if they don't make sense, helping ALOT more in the kitchen, and taking showers.

wetting the bed (2 times out of the month, not bad)

entertaining herself (set up center time in her room to implement a little "Kylie alone time")

asking for things (she asks for things even if she doesn't really want what she's asking for OR if I've already said no.)

scared of bugs ("I'm scared of stingin' bugs." But she's scared of EVERYTHING....butterflies, flies, ladybugs, ants....)

playing catch (this was the only thing Kylie was under level on during her Kindergarten screening.)

tying shoes/zip up clothes (yikes!!!)

What she is known for

*talking - loves to tell jokes, stories, and people what to do. hahaha. She talks to EVERYONE at the store and all the cashiers know her. She would almost rather talk than eat, depending on what's for dinner.

*being sweet - she loves hugs and kisses, she gives them to everyone and everything (real animals and stuffed animals), when she gets in trouble and feels bad about it, she cries. She prays for her family and friends.

*humor/personality - she seriously cracks us up!!! She is full of life, energy, and joy. She'll retell parts of movies/shows that she thinks are hilarious. Can be a bit of a drama queen at times. If she knows people are watching her, she'll really ham up whatever she is doing.

*pictures - I take pictures all the time while I still can, so much so that Kylie will asked for me to take pictures of real random stuff. "Mom, come take a picture of this tower I built." Fake smile alert!!! She will throw up a fake smile when she feels like being difficult or she will move around like a crazy person or do some weird pose for the picture. haha.

"Sure looks like a nice day out there." <-----another way to ask, "Can I play outside." hahaha.

"Is it Arthur time yet?" <-----another way to ask, "Can I watch a show?" Ha!

"I'm sorry I did that. Can you please forgive me?"
