So I'm cleaning up the kitchen from breakfast and all of a sudden I hear Kylie crying like something had happened to her. I've never heard her cry like that before so I was a bit worried. I went down the hall way and Kylie was already running out of her room, holding up her little hand. She had a cut on on the palm of her hand and it was bleeding a little bit. (It's nothing serious.) I asked her what happened but she was too busy crying and couldn't say much.
I got her cut washed and cleaned out with some rubbing alcohol and then realized I have NEVER bought bandaids. I've thought about it before, even looked at them recently at the store, but never had a need for them; until today. :P So I put a cotton face pad on it and wrapped it up with toilet paper. hahaha. (Now it looks like something happened to her whole hand!!!)
By this time Kylie(whimpering still)was saying things like, "I've never had a booboo like THIS before." "My poor, poor booboo." and "I hope the other hand doesn't get this booboo, too." (hahahaha, she cracks me up. Of course I'm not laughing out loud, but inside I'm roooooooolling.)
So what happened? Well, she couldn't really explain to me what happened but the gist of it is she was running and somehow cut it on her doll house. I'm not sure how that could have happened, but I'm not surprised, she has a way of getting injured in the oddest ways.
New staple in the Johnsen household - bandaids. :)

Wow, I can't believe you've NEVER needed bandaids!!! You must be a better mom than me!
hahahaha; she usually just gets bruises (mostly) and she's had a few scrapes but nothing that kept bleeding. She was kind of freaked out by the "pain". It's been kind of amusing this morning. :)
