CAMP!!!! No homework! And no school. *She asked the lady at camp registration, if there was going to be homework. hahaha.*

What will you miss about first grade?

Most of my friends won't be in my class.

Favorite

Things to do: color and cut and be like an artist

Food: macaroni and cheese, hot dog, corn dog, cake.....*I think she was just naming foods, it's almost lunch time. haha* 

Best friend: Lauren

Color: Pink and Purple (although, she said black at first.)

Animal: a lion (I like the cat family.)

Book: Junie B. Jones series

Song: Our God (sings it w/daddy pops while he plays the guitar), 'Cause you're my zing and Problem (both from Hotel Transylvania)

Movie/TV shows: Sonic, Barbie, My Little Pony

Places to go: Illinois (we went to Southern Illinois to visit family) and Silver Dollar City

Let's talk Second Grade

What scares you:  "Nothing, wait...more homework."

What are you excited about: "My new teacher!!"

Do you have any questions about Second Grade? "Um I don't know...."

What do you know about Second Grade? "That it's going to be fun and I get to go on the other playground!!" 

Accomplishments (and other things)

Learned how to tie her shoes. Passed first grade w/great marks each quarter. Signed up for summer day camp!!! Had to have her eye lid glued because it was split open at recess. Was chosen for a Character award for being a caring student. Gained more responsibilities around the house because she can do them all by herself (clean the bathroom, fold her laundry). Buckles the big seat belt around her bulky booster seat in the car w/out help. Flew her first kite and was a pro! Rode on a 4-wheeler and motorcyle for the first time. Had fun on the big pirate ship at SDC w/out being scared. Met all my Uncles/families, Gma for the first time in Illinois. Picks out her own outfits and they make sense!! Colors amazingly!!!!!! Reads like a little champ. Got her first real Bible, not just a book w/some of the Bible stories in it. Lost 4 teeth and has no cavaties.

wetting the bed (few and far between, but still happens. :P) 

following friends when they make bad choices (praying for this continually.)

tying shoes TIGHTLY (she has to re-tie her shoes a thousand times during a grocery trip.)
ride a bike w/no training wheels (this will be awhile, haha)
tone of voice (giving me flashbacks to when I was a kid, enough said.)

What she is known for 

*talking - at school the students have to flip a card/color if they get in trouble, Kylie has had to flip a card for talking more than a few times. 

*being sweet - Kylie has a sweet spirit. Her teachers at school and church, tell me how sweet she is. She cares about her friends, wants to hold their hands or give them a hug. She loves to share her stuff w/others. She prays in such a genuine sweet way.

*humor/personality -The funniest thing to me about Kylie is she says things so matter-of-factly and they aren't always right! hahaha. Wish I could come up w/a good example, but alas I can not. Stubbornness and hard head!!! Oooooweeeee, this child! Definitely Adam and I's kiddo! Lord help us in the pre-teen and teenage years!!! hahaha, seriously!

*drawing - Kylie loves to draw and craft things. She always has a bunch of creations and pictures in her art cubby in her room.
*appearance - her hair is SO long!!!! Still hasn't been cut. (Maybe this Summer, maybe.) She is pretty tall, too. I don't think she is super tall, but for some reason people always comment on her heighth. Wholly jeans!!! Grrrr.....if this girl doesn't stop putting holes in her new jeans.....now I understand why my mom got so irritated w/me when I did it. Has cute freckles on the bridge of her nose.

Things I hear alot

"Can I use the scissors and glue?" 

"Guess what!" - says this at least 4 times in the same sentence! hahaha

"Can I turn on the TV?"
"Is there going to be dessert?"
