Lunchtime mishaps.....

Conversation on the way home from school:

Kylie - Mom, can I get my drink out of my lunch bag, I didn't have it today because I left it in the classroom at lunch.
Me - Huh???? You had lunch right?!
Kylie - Well yeah, I just took my lunch out and left the bag in my cubby.
Me - Why baby? You just need to carry the whole bag to the lunchroom.
(Kylie looks at me like I'm crazy and I explain to her that today she had a lunchable, but other days it will be hard to carry her little bags of everything and should just keep it in her lunchbag. She reluctantly agreed and secretly was wondering why I was so confused by her. haha)

*sidenote - she didn't get my special note because she did that. Bummer!*
*sidenote to sidenote - she informed me that it was ok though, because she had her kissing hand. ;) *

Back to the convo:

Kylie - "It's ok though, because I got a drink from the school.
Me - Huh??? What did you have? (Thinking water...)
Kylie - I got a milk.
Me - Did you talk to your teacher before you got one?
Kylie - Oh no, I just got up and got one.
Me - Uh, don't do that, you have to PAY for those baby girl!!

Oh geez!!! Tomorrow is round 2 and she will be bringing some milk money to pay for that! Whoops!!!
